I am interested in mechanisms of materials degradation on the atomic and molecular scale, and how these affect macroscopic systems behaviour.
On the method side, the group uses lab-based in situ and operando spectroscopy to study electrochemical processes. We are particularly focused on using applied vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman, others) fo investigating structural changes at interfaces.
To get some idea of the research work in our group, check out our publications.
