Om

Sigmund Arntsønn Tronvoll er førsteamanuensis ved Institutt for maskinteknikk og produksjon ved NTNU. Hans fagområder er metallforming, additiv tilvirkning, maskindeler og flyingeniørfag.

Forskningen er hovedsakelig rettet mot produksjon av komponenter i aluminium, samt additiv tilvitkning generelt. Han underviser i maskindeler for MSc og BSc studenter innen maskinområdet, og flykomponenter/konstruksjon og flyvedlikeholdsrettede fag i bachelorprogrammet i flyingeniørfag. Han veileder og bachelor-, master- og ph.d.-studenter.
