Sofia Moratti
Om
Sofia Moratti er førsteamanuensis i kjønns-, likestillings- og mangfoldsstudier. Hun leder forskergruppen Kjønn, vitenskap og teknologi.
Forskningen hennes handler om de samfunnsmessige, etiske og juridiske aspektene ved nye teknologier, samt om likestilling og mangfold i akademiske karrierer. Hun er involvert i flere nasjonale og internasjonale prosjekter innen disse temaene, som er oppført under Forskning.
Hennes bakgrunn er i jus, sosiologi og filosofi med fokus på etikk. Hun har en doktorgrad fra Universitetet i Groningen (2009). Før hun begynte ved NTNU i 2016, arbeidet hun ved European University Institute i Firenze og ved Universitetet i Trieste.
Moratti underviser og veileder studenter på alle nivåer, og har vært sterkt engasjert i forskningsformidling gjennom flere nasjonale og internasjonale prosjekter, som nærmere beskrevet under Undervisning og Formidling.

Jeg veileder for tiden to ph.d.-kandidater: Maja Urbanczyk (EpiJustInf-prosjektet) og Shan Wang (BIAS-prosjektet).
Utdanningsfaglig kompetanse
Jeg er sertifisert veileder, foreleser og foredragsholder. Jeg har gjennomført UNIPEDs utdanningsfaglig basiskompetanse for fast ansatte ved NTNU, undervisningskompetanse fra Max Weber Postdoctoral Programme (European University Institute, Firenze), UNI Smart læring (NTNU) og flere kurs i veiledning og forskningsformidling.
Nylig formidling
Jeg har vært sterkt involvert i forskningsformidling de siste årene, både i Norge og internasjonalt, hovedsakelig gjennom tre roller: som NTNU-koordinator for ProGender-prosjektet, gjennom Robotics4EU-prosjektet og som koordinator for GenderHub-nettverket. For alle tre har jeg organisert både fysiske og digitale seminarer, forelesninger og arrangementer.
