CV

Mohamed Hamdy er førsteamanuensis ved Institutt for bygg- og miljøteknikk ved NTNU. Han har 15 års erfaring med undervisning, forskning og konsultasjon innen simulering og optimalisering av bygningsytelse. Tidligere jobbet M. Hamdy som seniorkonsulent ved METABUILD GmbH i Tyskland, som seniorforsker ved Technical University of Eindhoven (TU / e) i Nederland, som stipendiatforsker ved Aalto University i Finland, og som lærerassistent som samt industrikonsulent ved Helwan universitet i Egypt. M. Hamdy er en ekspert innen bygningsytelsesimulering (BPS), bygningsautomatiseringssystemer (BAS), multi-objektiv optimalisering (MOO), livssykluskostnadsanalyse (LCCA) og bygningsinformasjonsmodellering (BIM). Han har 50 fagfellevurderte publikasjoner. Han har 2086 sitater, h-indeks: 18 og i10-indeks: 27. M. Hamdy har veiledet 23 masterstudenter og 7 pågående Ph.D. teser. I Norge er han partner i ZEN center (et forskningsprosjekt innen Zero Emission Neighborhoods in Smart Cities). Internasjonalt er han et aktivt medlem av International Energy Agency - Energy in Building and Communities-programmet (IEA EBC) og en partner i Horizon Europe-prosjektet (ARV) samt H2020-prosjektene TRAN-URBAN-EU-CHINA og QUANTUM. Han er styringskomité og rådgivende styremedlem for forskningsprosjektene: ‘’ OCCuPANt ’’ finansiert av University of Liège, Council for Research and Development. M.Hamdy er også en samarbeidspartner i prosjektet "De optimale overgangene fra interaktivt isolerte systemer til den gjensidig integrerte enheten mellom nullenergibygging (er) og nullenergibil (er)", finansiert av Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University Grants Committee (UGC). I tillegg er han assisterende redaktør for tidsskriftet '' Frontiers in Built Environment '', og en sertifisert anmelder for tidsskriftene: '' Applied Energy '' og '' Energy and Buildings ''.

Green2050 : Centre for Green Shift in the Built Environment

Green2050 aims to be an arena of networking and collaboration between academia and the industry. A hub for accelerating existing, planned, and new projects. The goal is to transition into a carbon neutral built environment within 2050.
