Ulla Forseth

Forskningsområder: Arbeids- og organisasjonssosiologi, emosjonelt arbeid, kjønn, risiko, helse, miljø og sikkerhet, finanssosiologi, makt og motstand, den nordiske/norske modellen i arbeidsliv og velferd, sosiologisk teori og metoder, inkl. narrativ analyse og minnearbeid.
Jeg er professor i sosiologi ved Institutt for sosiologi og statsvitenskap og har erfaring fra tre forskningsinstitutter i SINTEF. Kommunikasjon på tvers a disipliner, språk og kulturer har vært viktige i mine valg av studier innen humaniora og samfunnsvitenkap og stillinger Jeg underviser i sosiologisk teori, forskningsdesign, arbeid og organisasjon og den norske modellen i arbeidsliv og velferd.
Jeg har ledet mer enn 20 forskningsprosjekter alene eller sammen med kolleger. Forskningen er publisert i tidsskrifter som Evaluation Studies, Gender,Work and Organization, Ingenere, Kvinneforskning, Norsk sosiologisk tidsskrift, Safety Science, Safety Science Monitor, Scandinavian Journal of Management, Tidsskrift for Arbejdsliv, Tidsskrift for Den norske legeforening og Travailler. Jeg var visiting professor ved Dipartimento di Sociologia e Ricerca Sociale, Università di Trento, Italia, 2017-2018, noe som bidro til at jeg kunne lære meg mitt femte fremmedspråk.
