Bakgrunn og aktiviteter
Jeg arbeider som Førsteamanuensis II ved NTNU og underviser i GIS og fjernanalyse (se emne GEOG3523). Jeg underviser og veileder også innenfor glasiologi, glasialmorfologi og geomorfologi.
Jeg forsker om kvartærgeologi (glasiale landformer og sedimenter) og geomorfologi. For tiden er jeg hovedaklig involvert innenfor tre prosjekter; deglasiasjon av Skandinavia (nylig publikasjon av Stroeven et al. (2016)), pre-kvartær geomorfologi og forvitring (nylige publikasjoner av Viola et al. (2016) and Fredin et al. (2017)), og forandring av isvolum over tid i Dronning Maud Land, Antarktis (prosjektets nettsted her).
