Profile

Dr. Mehdi Zadeh is a Professor of Marine Electrification and Hybrid Energy Systems at NTNU Department of Marine Technology, Trondheim. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NTNU, Trondheim, and is a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Zadeh is actively involved as a principal investigator in Horizon Europe projects focused on sustainable maritime transport. His research interests include electrification for zero-emission and autonomous marine transport, onboard and hybrid DC power systems, offshore renewable energy systems, and smart sustainable ports.
