Forskning
Mine forskningsinteresser ligger innenfor 1700- og 1800-tallsstudier, samt franskspråklig samtidslitteratur. Jeg er særlig interessert i skjæringspunktet mellom litteratur, kulturhistorie og politikk, og i ulike former for tekstlig endring og sirkulasjon, slik som litterær appropriasjon, oversettelse og omskriving.

The Invention of the Lottery Fantasy – A Cultural, Transnational, and Transmedial History of European Lotteries
The project examines the cultural, political, and financial impact of what we call the lottery fantasy, the idea of a sudden, life-changing wealth through the big prize in the lottery.
Remediating Movement: Travel Writing in the French Periodical Press (1780–1820)
Combining a media perspective with literary analysis, the project examined how the periodical press reviewed, appropriated, and circulated travel writing, to become a medium of travel narratives in its own right. The project was financed by RCN/FRIPRO.
