Deltakar i HUNT
Helseundersøkingane i Trøndelag (HUNT) er ei stor samling av helseopplysningar og blodprøvar som har som mål å finne ut kvifor nokre blir sjuke medan andre held seg friske, kva som påverkar helsa vår, og korleis helsa vår påverkar livet. Difor samlar vi opplysningar og biologisk materiale frå mange tusen trøndarar.

Har du fått SMS om oppdatering av samtykke for UngHUNT-deltakarar?
Alle som deltok i ein UngHUNT‑undersøking før fylte 16 år deltok med samtykke frå sine føresette. Dette samtykket er framleis gjeldande, og dine data blir framleis brukte i helseforsking. Me sender i desse dagar ut ein SMS til mange UngHUNT-deltakarane, nettopp for å minna deg på kva du var med på, kva du og dine føresette samtykte til og informera om at det alltid er mogleg å be om innsyn i dine data eller trekkja samtykke og sletta desse.

- følgje folkehelsa over tid
- finne ut kva faktorar som fremjar helse og kva som kan forårsake sjukdom
- finne genetiske årsaker til sjukdom
- finne ut meir om korleis helse påverkar livsløp
- forbetre folkehelsa gjennom opplysning til legar, myndigheiter med ansvar for helse og folk generelt
- bidra til utvikling av nye medisinar
- bidra til eit sunnare samfunn for alle
Som deltakar i HUNT bidreg du til eit utal forskingsprosjekt og mengder av vitskaplege publikasjonar som gir ny innsikt om helse og sjukdom. Skal ein utvikla kunnskap som kan bidra til at folk held seg friske må ein også forska på dei friske og heile breidda av befolkninga. Her ligg det store moglegheiter i det rike datamaterialet me forvaltar i HUNT.
Deltakarane - den viktigaste brikka
Deltakarane i HUNT er den viktigaste brikka i HUNT sin suksess. At så mange har stilt opp frivillig og gitt opplysningar og biologisk materiale er grunnlaget for all HUNT-forsking, og det er heilt unikt i verda. All forskinga generert gjennom HUNT har også ført til etablering av HUNT forskingssenter med ein toppmoderne biobank, databank, lagringssenter og høgt kvalifiserte tilsette.
