Tord Mjøsund Talmo
Om
Tord Talmo har hovedfag i Nordisk fra 2004. Oppgaven ble skrevet på Thure Erik Lunds roman Grøftetildragelsesmysteriet (1999).
Talmo har vært ansatt ved Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag, nå NTNU, siden 2003. Hans arbeidsoppgaver har hovdsakelig vært foreleser innen språk- og samfunnsfag. De senere år har Talmo hatt en delt stilling mellom forelesning og forskning.
Forskningsinteressene til Talmo dreier seg i stor grad om bruk av teknologi i undervisningen, særlig utnyttelsen av håndholdte enheter i språkfag, men også om nye digitale læringsarenaer.
Talmo har publisert over femti artikler i vitenskapelige tidsskrift og i forbindelse med konferanser siden 2011. Han gav også ut en lærebok i Kommunikasjon og Norsk for Ingeniørstudenter i 2018.
Per tiden er Talmo nestleder i Forskerforbundet ved NTNU, og sitter i hovedstyret til 2027.

Forskning
Talmo har siden 2009 vært engasjert i en rekke internasjonale prosjekter, særlig Erasmus+. Hovedsakelig har disse dreid seg om utviklingen av og forskning på digitale utdannningsverktøy, men også læringsdesign med digitale verktøy, romstrkturer og pedagogisk bruk av innovative læringsareal. Per tiden leder Talmo iLikeIT2, et prosjekt som undersøker effektene av responsverktøy for samarbeidslæring. I tillegg er han involvert i prosjekte EdViCon, som forsker på den beste bruken av videokonferansesystemer.
