Professor i materialkjemi ved Institutt for materialteknologi ved NTNU siden 2018, førsteamanuensis 2012-18. Gjesteforsker hos Materials Theory Group på ETH Zürich i 2011-12 og ved Materials Research Laboratory på UC Santa Barbara i 2008. 

PhD i faststoffkjemi fra NTNU (2009), sivilingeniør i materialteknologi fra NTNU (2005), født 1980. 

Veiledet 4 fullførte PhD-studenter, 2 post docer og 22 siv.ing./MSc-studenter. For tiden 2 post docer, 3 PhD-studenter og 3 siv.ing./MSc-studenter. Ca 80 artikler i vitenskapelige journaler.
