Pål Romundstad er prodekan for forskning ved Det medisinske fakultet og professor i epidemiologi ved Institutt for samfunnsmedisin, NTNU. I tillegg er han ansatt som forskningsrådgiver ved St. Olavs Hospital, Universitetssykehuset i Trondheim.
