Prodekan for utdanning, Fakultet for ingeniørvitenskap

Som prodekan for utdanning ved Fakultet for ingeniørvitenskap, har jeg det overordnede ansvaret for å lede og videreutvikle fakultetets utdanningsportefølje. Jeg er en del av dekanatet, som er fakultetets lederteam, og jobber tett med dekan, prodekan for forskning og innovasjon, og fakultetets administrative leder for å sikre en helhetlig og strategisk utvikling av fakultetets virksomhet. Jeg inngår også i fakultetets ledergruppe sammen med dekanatet og alle instituttlederne.

Mine arbeidsoppgaver er blant annet

  • Lede arbeidet med å kvalitetssikre og kontinuerlig utvikle fakultetets studieprogrammer.
  • Lede arbeidet med utforming og implementering av strategi- og handlingsplaner for utdanning, samt den strategiske utviklingen av studieprogramporteføljen.
  • Lede fakultetets utdanningsutvalg og representere fakultetet i relevante utvalg, som NTNUs utdanningsutvalg og forvaltningsutvalgene for ingeniør- og sivilingeniørutdanning.

Professor i konstruksjonsdynamikk

I tillegg til mine oppgaver som prodekan, er jeg professor i konstruksjonsdynamikk ved Institutt for konstruksjonsteknikk. Mitt primære forskningsfelt er konstruksjoner utsatt for naturlaster og overvåking av konstruksjoner ved hjelp av sensorer.
