Grunnlegger og leder av – HPC-Lab, Institutt for Datateknikk og Informatikk, NTNU, som begynte som min forskningsgruppe da jeg kom til NTNU i januar 2001. Vi er nå en etablert forskningslabb innen heterogen og parallell datateknikk. Labben består av meg selv, flere Post Docer, stipendiater, og masterstudenter såvel som både nasjonale og internasjonale kolleger og forskere som besøker oss for å samarbeide og lære om heterogen datateknologi.
Forskningsfokuset vårt inkluderer metoder og verktøy for hvordan enklest og best få ut regnekraften av heterogene systmer som inkludere både GPUer og , inkl. hvordan integrere disse teknologiene kan med skytjenester.
