Om Publikasjoner Undervisning Formidling

Om

Mine forskningsområder er faststoffmekanikk, materialmodellering og numeriske beregninger. Forskningen fokuserer på plastisk deformasjon og brudd i metaller, der mikromekanisk modellering står sentralt. Arbeidet kombinerer eksperimenter, teori, og numerisk modellering og simulering, og inkluderer bruk av eksperimentelle mikrostrukturdata i modelleringen for å forstå hvordan mikrostrukturen påvirker materialoppførselen. For tiden arbeider jeg med prosjekter på stokastisk bruddoppførsel i støpt aluminium og polymer-baserte metamaterialer for energiopptak ved støtlaster. Et overordnet mål er å utvikle mer nøyaktige modeller for å beskrive og forutsi brudd i materialer.
