Hefeng Dong
Om
Hefeng Dong er professor i Akustisk fjernmåling ved institutt for elektroniske systemer (IES) siden 2002 i faggruppen for akustikk. Hennes forskningsinteresser er undervannsakustikk, akustisk fjernmåling, geoakustisk og seismisk modellering og inversjon, lavfrekvent lydforplantning og påvirkningen på marine liv og passiv akustikk, undervanns akustisk kommunikasjon og signalbeahndling.
Bakgrunn
Hefeng Dong har BSc. i fysikk (1983) og MSc. i teoretisk fysikk (1986) fra Northeaster Normal University, Kina og PhD i geoakoustikk (1994) fra Jilin University, Kina. Hun har hatt stilling som forsker ved SINTEF Petroleum (2001-2002) og har hatt forskningsopphold ved University of Victoria, Canada (2008-2009) og University of Delaware (2014-2015).
Hun er medlem IEEE & medlem av Acoustic Society of America.
