Om

Estimering av gjenstående levetid av jernbanebruer i stål

Det norske jernbanenettverket ble hovedsakelig bygd mellom 1850 og 1965 og består av over 2700 bruer. Omtrent 1000 av disse bruene er stål konstruksjoner og ingen av disse bruene ble bygd for dagens aksellaster og toghastigheter. I tillegg ble stålbruene sjelden vurdert mot utmattingsbrudd. Selvom det er iverksatt tiltak for å sikre umiddelbare behov og sikker drift, finnes det spørsmål rundt bruenes faktiske driftstilstand og gjenstående levetid. Nøyaktig estimering av tilstand og levetid av disse jernbanebruene er essensielt for å kunne drifte og ivareta jernbanenettverket med hensyn til økonomiske, sosiale og miljømessige krav.

 

Feltmålinger er den mest presise måten å vurdere tilstanden til bruer, men på grunn av det store antallet bruer er det ikke mulig å gjennomføre målinger på alle bruene. Numeriske simuleringer er effektive verktøy som kan bli brukt til å predikere responsen til disse konstruksjonene, men nøyaktigheten er avhengig av kompleksiteten til modellen og usikkerheten rundt parametrene som går inn i simuleringene. Ved å kombinere feltmålinger sammen med numeriske simuleringer får man det beste fra begge verdener og er nødvendig for å oppnå nøyaktig og fullstendig estimering av tilstand og levetid av de norske jernbanebruene.

 

Hovedmål

  • Forbedre prediksjon av gjenstående levetid i jernbanebruer i stål
  • Kvantifisere modellusikkerhet og feil i numeriske modeller av jernbanebruer
  • Bestemme historiske og nåværende laster i det norske jernbanenettverket
  • Benytte og forbedre modelloppdateringsmetodikk for simuleringer av togpassasjer på jernbanebruer.
