Georgios Neokleous
Om
Georgios Neokleous fullførte sin doktorgrad i utdanningsvitenskap ved Saint Louis University i 2014, med fokus på bruk av hjemmespråk i engelskundervisning for flerspråklige elever. Han jobber for tiden som professor i engelsk ved Institutt for lærerutdanning ved Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), hvor han underviser både lærerstudenter og lærere i etter- og videreutdanning, samt veileder studenter på bachelor-, master- og ph.d.-nivå.
Han startet sin akademiske karriere som lærer i engelsk som andrespråk og har bred undervisningserfaring fra både Europa og USA. Han har utviklet kurs som benytter metoder og aktiviteter tilpasset de språklige behovene til spesifikke elevgrupper.
Georgios har publisert bredt, inkludert fagfellevurderte forskningsartikler og profesjonelle publikasjoner for lærere. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer flerspråklighet, bruk av hjemmespråk i engelskundervisning for flerspråklige elever, transspråking, lese- og skriveopplæring, samt vurdering.
