Jeg er universitetslektor ved NTNU. Her koordinerer og underviser jeg i RAS-emner på bachelor-, master- og etter- og videreutdanningsnivå (BT3102, BT3210, og BT6020).
I tillegg til mine undervisningsoppgaver er jeg fortsatt aktivt engasjert i forskning på resirkulerende akvakultursystemer (RAS), hovedsakelig med utgangspunkt i arbeidet jeg utviklet gjennom doktorgraden med prof. Forskning
Min forskning fokuserer primært på hvordan mikroorganismer kan utnyttes for å støtte en mer forutsigbar, bærekraftig og biosikker fiskeproduksjon, med særlig vekt på resirkulerende akvakultursystemer (RAS).
Jeg kombinerer mikrobiell økologi, molekylære metoder og anvendt akvakulturkunnskap for å utvikle praktiske strategier som kan forbedre vannkvalitet, systemytelse og fiskehelse i intensiv akvakultur.
