Faglig innhold

Free improvisational tutored training in ensemble. The course is designed in such a way that it requires three or more registered students for it to be taught.

The course can be included as an elective in the Master in Music Performance degree. The department assigns elective subjects to courses based on their prioritized preferences, as well as academic and resource considerations.

• will develop the ability to spontaneously create musical forms and structures, both solo and in ensemble.

Læringsformer og aktiviteter

Regular training in free improvisation in ensemble. The course may in some cases be taught as an intensive course that may require additional student led activities.

Instruction is obligatory and demands minimum 80% attendance.
