Mohamed Abomhara jobber innen cybersikkerhet, personvern og databeskyttelse, med fokus på de etiske, juridiske og tekniske aspektene ved digitale systemer. Hans ekspertise inkluderer etterlevelse av GDPR, innebygd personvern (privacy-by-design), risikovurdering og sikker systemdesign. Han bidrar aktivt til EU- og internasjonale forskningsprosjekter, hvor han leder arbeid med cybersikkerhetsstrategi, dataetikk og regulatorisk etterlevelse. SOCYTI: Violence-Inducing Behaviour Prevention in Social-Cyber Space of Local Communities
In this project, the key objective is to improve community resilience using a principled approach of social cybersecurity, by developing tools to inform the community services for proactive interventions regarding violence-inducing behaviours online.
METICOS: A Platform for Monitoring and Prediction of Social Impact and Acceptability of Modern Border Control Technology
METICOS project is developing a platform that integrates information systems and networks of data sources in order to validate the efficiency and users acceptance of border control technologies.
CONNECT- Curricula Development and Capacity Building in Applied Computer Science for Pakistani Higher Education Institutions
CONNECT aims to enhance the quality of higher education in Pakistan through academic cooperation with Norway, launch a master program at the partner institute, and support mutual student mobility.
Artificial Intelligence in Formal Foreign Language Education
This project explored the use of AI in foreign language teaching in classrooms with a focused target group on “teachers” rather than the students which was done in the previous bilateral initiative.
