John Krogstie
Bakgrunn og aktiviteter
John Krogstie har en PhD (1995) og mastergrad (1991) innen informasjonssystemer fra NTNU. Han jobber der som professor innen informasjonssystemer ved IDI - Institutt for datateknologi og informatikk, der han er Instituttleder (2017-2021). Han har tidligere vært pro-dekan ved IME-fakultetet, og ledet det tverrfaglige tematiske satsningsområde IKT. Han var med å etablere NTNUs tematiske område bærekraft, der han satt i ledelsen som representant for IKT-miljøet de første årene. John Krogstie er norsk representant og tidligere nest-leder i IFIP TC8, og ledet IFIP WG 8.1 innen design og evaluering av informasjonssystemer (2010-2015). Hans forskningsinteresser er modellering av informasjonssystemer, information systems engineering, kvalitet av modeller og modelleringsspråk, eForvaltning og bærekraftige smart byer. Han har publisert mer enn 350 artikler i journaler, bøker og konferanser siden 1991.
