Jeg er en arkitekt, en pedagog, og siden oktober 2014 Stipendiat i prosjektet ”Arkitekturteori og transformativ læring i arkitektoniske prosjekter fra konsept til realisering." Om min bakgrunn, kan du se min CV.
Målet med min nåværende forskning er å foreslå områder for kritisk staking og tenkning innenfor den arkitektoniske utdanning. Med andre ord, å stille spørsmål ved antakelser om hvordan arkitektur blir lært og hva slags kunnskap en arkitekt behøver og produserer. I kjernen av prosjektet ligger forståelsen av historien, lage og lære som sammenflettede prosesser hvor saken og tanke motsier hverandre. Jeg foreslår at disse motsetningene kan bli anerkjent som muligheter for transformasjoner av arkitekturfeltet og rollen som arkitekt.
Forskningen omfatter filosofiske og historiografiske undersøkelser samt eksperimenter med romlige konstruksjoner og arkitektoniske representasjoner. Innenfor NTNU, er den koblet til TRANSark - Center for Transformative Learning in Architectural Education og master studioet "Making is Thinking."
