Hamid Khanmohammadi er forsker ved Institutt for maskinteknikk og produksjon (MTP). Han har en doktorgrad i materialvitenskap og materialteknologi med fokus på korrosjon og tribokorrosjonsegenskaper til plasmaelektrolytisk oksidasjon (PEO)-belegg. Hans forskningsinteresser er beleggteknologi, tribologi, tribokorrosjon og overflatekarakterisering. Han er leder for Tribology Lab og PFIB Lab ved MTP.

Next Generation Marine Materials for Resilient Offshore Renewable Energy Devices
The MORE project focuses on the tribocorrosion and tribocorrosion-fatigue (Multidegradation) of different marine materials for offshore wave energy sector.
Infrastructure for Materials Research for Transporting Hydrogen
The SMART-H research infrastructure will make us better equipped to handle the challenges of materials that are exposed to hydrogen and help us on the way away from a society based on fossil energy.
