Om

Ghulam Mustafa er professor ved Institutt for internasjonal forretningsdrift. Han har PhD i Strategi og ledelse fra Norges Handelshøyskolen (NHH)  og M.Phil fra Universitetet i Bergen. Han er mottaker av prisen for ansvarlig forskning i ledelse i 2025. 

Forskningsinteresser

Ghulam Mustafas forskning ligger i skjæringspunktet mellom lederskap, organisasjonsatferd og tverrkulturell ledelse, med et sterkt fokus på hvordan kulturelle verdier og normer former lederatferd og effektivitet. Arbeidet hans utforsker også hvordan teamdynamikk og organisasjonspraksis påvirker resultater for ansatte/organisasjoner i kulturelt mangfoldige kontekster. Byggende på dette grunnlaget strekker forskningen hans seg til øvre sjikt og strategisk lederskap, og undersøker hvordan toppledelsesteam påvirker organisasjonsresultater på tvers av ulike institusjonelle miljøer. Hans nåværende forskning fremhever også hvordan digitalisering former organisasjonsstrukturer, lederskaps- og ansattes evner, og bedriftens ytelse. Samlet sett integrerer arbeidet hans tverrfaglige, institusjonelle og kulturelle perspektiver for å fremme en mer kontekstualisert forståelse av lederskap og organisasjonseffektivitet i en globalisert verden.
