Giosuè Baggio is Principal Investigator and Senior Manager at the Language Acquisition and Language Processing Lab. His research addresses the computational and neural bases of natural language understanding, with a focus on lexical and compositional semantics and their interfaces with syntax, logic, and pragmatics. He teaches topics in linguistic theory, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics in SPRÅK3002, SPRÅK3200, and SPRÅK3300.

Before joining NTNU, he has worked at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, and at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA). He has studied philosophy, logic, and cognitive neuroscience in Pavia, Strasbourg, Amsterdam, and Nijmegen.

He is author of the book Meaning in the Brain (MIT Press, 2018).
