Bakgrunn og aktiviteter

Giosuè Baggio is principal investigator and senior manager at the Language Acquisition and Language Processing Lab. His research addresses the computational and neural bases of human language processing, with a focus on lexical and compositional semantics and their interfaces with syntax, logic, and pragmatics. He teaches topics in linguistic theory, linguistic methodology, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics in SPRÅK3200SPRÅK3300, and NEVR2010.

Before joining NTNU, he has worked at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, and at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA). He has studied philosophy, logic, and cognitive neuroscience in Pavia, Strasbourg, Amsterdam, and Nijmegen.

He is author of the book Meaning in the Brain (MIT Press, 2018).
