Profesjonell introduksjon
Jeg er ph.d.-kandidat i bygg- og miljøteknikk ved NTNU, med bakgrunn i arkitektur og tverrfaglig prosjektarbeid. Min forskning ligger i skjæringspunktet mellom det bygde miljøet, helse og samfunnsutvikling.
Forskningsfokus
Jeg undersøker hvordan fysiske omgivelser påvirker helse, trivsel og atferd på både individ- og samfunnsnivå. Målet er å utvikle kunnskap som kan bidra til mer bærekraftige, funksjonelle og helsefremmende by- og boligmiljøer.
Metodisk tilnærming
I doktorgradsarbeidet har jeg utviklet og validert måleverktøy for å analysere sammenhenger mellom bygde omgivelser og ulike dimensjoner av helse og livskvalitet. Jeg kombinerer kvantitative og kvalitative metoder, inkludert spørreundersøkelser, intervjuer og eksperimentelle studier. Arbeidet gjennomføres i samarbeid med offentlige aktører og tverrfaglige forskningsmiljøer.
Anvendelse og samfunnsrelevans
Jeg er opptatt av å gjøre forskning beslutningsrelevant og anvendbar i praksis. Arbeidet mitt retter seg mot hvordan kunnskap kan støtte planlegging, eiendomsutvikling og kommunal tjenesteutvikling. Jeg har erfaring med prosjektkoordinering, utvikling av forskningssøknader og formidling av resultater til ulike målgrupper.
Undervisning og veiledning
Ved siden av forskningen veileder jeg studenter og bidrar i undervisning innen byutvikling og transformasjon av eksisterende bygg.
