Dave er Innovasjonsleder ved Forskningssenteret for nullutslippsområder i smarte byer (FME ZEN)
Daves hovedansvar er å realisere mer av innovasjonspotensialet i forskning og forskningssamarbeid.
Innovasjonsledere ved NTNU har en stilling innen innovasjonsfaget, hvor hovedansvaret er:
- Gå aktivt i dybden i forskningsresultater for å identifisere og realisere ideer til mulige innovasjoner
- Bidra til å øke nyskapingsaktivitet med utgangspunkt i klynger, sentra og satsinger
- Realisere forskningsbasert innovasjon sammen med samarbeidspartnere
- Videreutvikle innovasjonskultur og innovasjonsfaglig arbeidsmetodikk i fagmiljøene
- Øke synligheten av fagmiljøenes og samarbeidspartnernes innovasjonsaktivitet
- Delta på relevante strategiske arenaer
Dave er opprinnelig fra Wales i Storbritannia, og har en doktorgrad i styring av bærekraftige fasiliteter fra Centre for Real Estate and Facility Management i Institutt for arkitektur og planlegging.
I 2019 ble Dave tildelt European Facility Management Network (EuroFM) ‘European Researcher of the Year’ for sine bidrag til fremme av “kunnskap i FM og fremme dens effektive anvendelse i praksis og utdanning”.
Dave har også en bachelor i politikk og moderne historie fra Cardiff University fullført i 2007, samt en Master i globalisering, global politikk og kultur fra NTNU fullført i 2014. Han jobbet også for SINTEF Technology and Society i løpet av det siste året av sin Master .
kompetanse
Før han flyttet til Norge, jobbet Dave i nesten 5 år for et britisk parlamentsmedlem.
I 2022 fullførte Dave et postdoktorstipend, hvor han forsket på hvordan brukere og lokalsamfunn bedre kan engasjere seg i Smart Cities-prosjekter som mer formelle mellommenn i Nordforsk-prosjektet «Citizens as the Pilots of Smart Cities» (CaPs).
Dave er utadvendt, entusiastisk, sosial og trives best med mennesker. Ikke nøl med å kontakte ham!
