Forsker på interaksjoner mellom Mycobacterium tuberculosis og humane makrofager, med fokus på komplementsystemet i medfødt immunologi. Samarbeider gjennom sistnevnte også med forskningsgruppen Inflammation ledet av prof. emeritus Terje Espevik.
