Om COP 30

NTNU and SINTEF are participating together at the UN Climate Change Conference COP30, the world’s leading arena for international climate action. As a Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organization (RINGO) observer, we have a threefold mission: to communicate research that supports the Sustainable Development Goals nationally and globally, to share knowledge and insight with climate negotiators and other decision-makers, and to promote sustainable solutions within climate and energy.

Through research, education, and technology development, NTNU and SINTEF contribute to addressing major societal challenges. Together, we work for a knowledge-based transition to a sustainable society in Norway and worldwide.

NTNU organizes four UNFCCC side events, two of them together with SINTEF.
