NUEI brings together the strongest Nordic research groups from four Nordic countries to form a long-term partnership for expanding edge intelligence cooperation in the Nordic region.
Enhanced Industrial IoT Connectivity with Edge Intelligence (ICE)
ICE project investigates how to develop future IoT systems leveraging 1) distributed AI algorithms to derive insightful information leading to decisions on lightweight edge devices and 2) optimized context-aware augmented reality with edge computing.
Socially-Aware Artificial Intelligence for Future Transportation
The project develops a new generation of mathematical models for explaining and predicting human behavior in urban environments in interactions with autonomous future transportation technologies, such as self-driving cars and last-mile delivery robots.
