Bakgrunn
Eg er stipendiat ved Institutt for språk og litteratur. Eg har ein master i nordisk og tysk frå Universitetet i Kiel, Tyskland. MA-oppgåva mi undersøkjer dei folkespråklege omsetjingane av det latinske Evangelium Nicodemipå Island og i Skandinavia, spesielt den norrøne Niðrstigningar saga. Eg har jobba som vitskapleg assistent ved Institutt for skandinaviske studiar, frisiske studiar og allmenn språkvitskap i Kiel og for Det hanseatiske museum i Bergen, Noreg.
Doktorgradsprosjekt
Prosjektet mitt handlar om fragment av liturgiske bøker som er skrivne på Island mellom 1056 og 1402. Prosjektet integrerer metodar frå materialfilologi, fragmentforsking, bokhistorie og historisk sosiolingvistikk i ei tverrfagleg tilnærming. Målet er å lage virtuelle rekonstruksjonar av dei liturgiske bøkene i det islandske fragmentmaterialet, og å undersøkje desse rekonstruerte liturgiske bøkene i sine historiske sosiokulturelle og sosiolingvistiske kontekstar.
