Main Interests

comparative and functional neuroanatomy, neuroimaging, neuromodulation, epilepsy, movement disorders, cognitive neurology.

 

Current Research

Scientific background in functional neuronatomy with initial focus on micronetworks of the rodent parahippocampal region, a phylogenetically preserved area supporting spatial navigation and episodic memory. Strong interest in comparative neuroanatomy and drive to leverage animal model based systems neuroscientific knowledge to the clinic. Currently finishing neurology residency while developing translational research lines to investigate normal and pathological human brain networks.
