Om

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at NTNU's Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture (https://www.ntnu.no/kult), currently working on the eLife (https://cicero.oslo.no/en/projects/elife-how-to-circulate-more-electronics) and enhanceria (https://enhanceuniversity.eu/enhanceria/) projects. My work with eLife explores circular economy consumption in the context of electronics in Norway, focusing on transition management methodologies as a means of understanding and shifting user practices towards increased repair and reuse and reduced waste.

In 2021 I completed a PhD at NTNU's Design Department which explored design as a means of engaging people with new forms of consumption as part of a circular economy (https://ntnuopen.ntnu.no/ntnu-xmlui/handle/11250/2756987).

Circular economy has been my focus for the last ten years both during the doctoral studies in Norway and previously in the UK whilst working at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and helping to run The Great Recovery, a research project for the RSA in London which engaged designers with circular economy through practical workshops and residencies as well as video and action research.

I have a Bachelors in English Literature from University College London and a Masters in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
