His research interests include e-Learning, 3D imaging, image and video processing and analysis, video-surveillance, behaviour analysis, biometrics, video-guided intervention, image guided navigation and content-based retrieval. He is member of the Norwegian Colour and Visual Computing Laboratory (Colourlab)
