Postdoktor ved institutt for sirkulasjon og bildediagnostikk finansiert av Samarbeidsorganet i Helse Midt-Norge. Pågående prosjekter omhandler automatiske metoder for analyse av medisinske bilder ved hjelp av dyp læring. Hovedapplikasjonen er hjerteavbildning med ultralyd, hvor målet er å utvikle gode verktøy for diagnostikk og prognostikk, samt forbedring av arbeidsflyt i klinisk praksis.

Bakgrunn

Utdannet sivilingeniør i fysikk og matematikk med spesialisering innenfor biofysikk og medisinsk teknologi. Masteroppgave innen tema robotkontroll i bildeveiledet intervensjon. Doktorgrad innen automatisering av analyser i ekkokardiografi ved hjelp av maskinlæring.  

Er også ansatt som seniorforsker ved SINTEF Digital, avdeling Helse.
