Tor Arne Johansen er professor ved Institutt for teknisk kybernetikk ved NTNU. Han er utdannet sivilingeniør og har en doktorgrad i teknisk kybernetikk. Han er også nøkkelforsker ved Senter for autonome marine operasjoner og systemer (AMOS).
