Om
As a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. R. Jason Hearst, I work in experimental fluid mechanics. My research is part of the reSail project, which aims to advance wind-assisted propulsion for ships by improving our understanding of the wind conditions faced by such systems. Specifically, I focus on the impact of turbulence on aerodynamic surfaces and the flow interactions among multiple propulsion devices.
