Matteo Formolli er ph.d.-kandidat ved Forskningssenteret for nullutslippsområder i smarte byer (FME ZEN). Han har en bachelorgrad i arkitekturdesign fra Politecnico di Milano og en mastergrad i bærekraftig arkitektur fra Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU).
Forskning
Doktorgradsprosjekt om soltilgjengelighet og bygningsytelse i urbane områder på høy breddegrad, med fokus på samspillet mellom bygningsskall, solenergi og dagslys. Arbeidet omfatter parametrisk modellering, simulering, dataanalyse og utvikling av rammeverk og metoder for evaluering av soltilgjengelighet på ulike urbane romlige nivåer (utendørs, bygningsskall og innemiljø).
