Margrethe Bruun Vaage
Om
Margrethe Bruun Vaage er professor i filmvitenskap. Hun kom til NTNU i 2024 etter å ha jobbet i 11 år ved Universitetet i Kent i Storbritannia. Hun er en filmteoretiker som spesialiserer seg på kognitiv filmteori, og undersøker tilskuerens innlevelse i fiksjonelle filmer og fjernsynsserier, og mer spesifikt forestillingsevnen vår, følelser og fiksjonens moralpsykologi. Publikasjonene hennes inkluderer The Antihero in American Television (Routledge, 2016) and The Female Avenger, Women’s Anger and Rape-Revenge Film and Television (Edinburgh UP, 2024), og artikler i tidsskrift som British Journal of Aesthetics, Midwest Studies in Philosophy og Screen, og antologier som The Routledge Encylopedia of Film Theory, Cognitive Media Theory og The Oxford Handbook of Cognitive Literary Studies.
