Haroon Zafar
Om
Haroon er i dag ansatt som ph.d.-kandidat ved Institutt for kjemiteknikk ved NTNU. Hans arbeid er først og fremst fokusert på å syntetisere, funksjonalisere og karakterisere magnetiske nanopartikler for biomedisinske applikasjoner. PhD-prosjektet gjennomføres under veiledning av Sulalit Bandyopadhyay og Magnar Bjørås.
Haroon tok sin mastergrad i bioteknologi fra NTNU. I løpet av masteroppgaven jobbet han med å forbedre metningsmagnetiseringen av jernoksidnanopartikler som senere ble funksjonalisert for utvinning av mRNA fra biologiske prøver.
