Habib Niyaraq Nobakht

Habib Niyaraq Nobakht is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Psychology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway.

During his PhD, he was involved in Trondheim Early Secure Study (TESS) project and was supervised by professor Lars Wichstrom and professor Silje Steinsbekk. He finished his PhD by defending his thesis entitled "The Development of Behavioral Problems Across Childhood and Adolescence".

During his master's, Habib was involved in the Prospective Longitudinal Interdisciplinary Study of Child Development (PLIS) at the International Center for Research in Human Development at Tomsk State University, Tomsk, Russia. He was supervised by professor Yulia Kovas from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he also spent a semester as an exchange student.

Additionally, Habib has published many articles on trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and dissociation in collaboration with Dr. Karl Yngvar Dale (Molde University College, Norway) when he was a bachelor's and master's student.

Apart from his native language; Azerbaijani, he is also fluent in Persian, English, and Russian.
