Investigation of fluid-structure interactions (FSI) in a radial blade cascade subject to forced excitation.
The work focuses on the study of the interaction between flowing water and blades in a fix-radial cascade configuration, as representation of a high-head Francis turbine. The research involves both experimental and numerical studies. Experiments will provide essential results to validate the numerical model of multiphysics. PIV measurements tecniques are performed toghether with CFD and FEM analysis.
