Om

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Industrial Ecology Programme at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering (EPT). I have a background in Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering (BSc and MSc) which I completed at the University of São Paulo (USP); and in Maritime Spatial Planning (MSc) from the University of Sevilla, the University of the Azores and University of Venice, in 2019. In 2024, I completed my PhD as part of the CLIMMS project, in which I investigated potential solutions for mitigating climate change effects in the maritime sector.

Currently I am part of the Nord_H2ub project. In this project, I use modelling techniques applied to the MariTeam model in combination with Life-Cycle Assessment to investigate potential alternatives to reduce GHG emissions and ultimately support policy-makers, while exploring potential scenarios for the shipping sector using Integrated Assessment Models.
