The research group led by Associate Professor Dinesh Krishnamoorthy, in the Department of Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), works at the intersection of optimization, control, and machine learning. Our research spans model predictive control, learning-based and data-driven control, and distributed optimization, with particular focus on certified learning-based approximations of MPC, safe and constrained Bayesian optimization, and feedback-optimizing control for large-scale interconnected systems.
