Bakgrunn og aktiviteter
Bjarne Foss har vært professor ved Institutt for teknisk kybernetikk siden 1989. Foss har ph.d. i teknisk kybernetikk fra NTNU. Han har vært hovedveileder for 31 ph.d. kandidater, publisert 300 vitenskapelige artikler og vært grunder for to oppstartsselskaper. Foss var prorektor for forskning og formidling ved NTNU i tidsrommet 2017-2020 og rektors stedfortreder 2019-2020.
