Forskning

I study the electrophysiological and molecular properties of patient-derived neurons aimed at understanding the key principles underlying optimal neural network behavior, and how this is compromised in neurodegenerative diseases. Combining methods such as extracellular recordings (micro-electrode arrays) with transcriptomics and proteomics, the overall aim is to identify the early structural alterations and functional responses to gradually progressive neurodegeneration.
