Om

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Reservoir Technology/Analytical Chemistry at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where my research focuses on how core handling and cleaning procedures influence wettability in porous media. By applying advanced Mass Spectrometry (MS) to study oil–rock interactions at the molecular level, I aim to reduce uncertainties in Special Core Analysis (SCAL) and improve the reliability of laboratory measurements under reservoir-representative conditions.

This project is part of the TeSCAL initiative, in collaboration with SINTEF's Reservoir & Geology and Mass Spectrometry groups, the University of Eastern Finland's Department of Chemistry, and industry partners Equinor and Aker BP ASA.

I hold a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates, and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Research Associate at Khalifa University on polymer-based Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), in partnership with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), where I specialized in core flooding and NMR studies in carbonate reservoirs.

Publikasjoner

The Development of a Powder-Flotation Protocol for Rapid Screening of Aging- and Cleaning-Induced Wettability Alterations in Sandstone

This study develops a rapid powder-flotation protocol to assess crude-oil-induced wettability alteration and the effectiveness of solvent cleaning in Bleurswiller sandstone.

Deep Dive into Characterizing Rheological Regime Mapping: Unveiling Shear-Thickening Behavior in Customized Polyacrylamide-Based Copolymer through Integrated NMR Analysis with Coreflooding Experiments across Varied In-situ Flow Regimes

This study investigates a bespoke shear-thickening co-polymer for EOR under harsh, high-salinity conditions, using NMR-integrated core flooding to reveal pore-scale polymer behavior and flow-regime-dependent performance.

Investigation of EOR Formulations with Engineered Brines Utilizing Bespoke Polymer for a Candidate Offshore Heterogeneous Sandstone Reservoir

This study explores the use of engineered brines combined with a specially formulated polyacrylamide-based co-polymer designed for high-salinity and high-divalent ion conditions, suitable for a candidate offshore field.
