Jeg er en stipendiat ved SFI PhysMet, og min bakgrunn er innen fysikalsk metallurgi. I min forskning vil jeg undersøke effekten av sporelementer på mikrostruktur og egenskaper til kulegrafittjern. Sporelementene som undersøkes i dette prosjektet vil være relatert til bruk av stålskrap og biokarbon i produksjonen av støpejern.
Våren 2021 gjennomførte jeg mastergraden min. Her undersøkte jeg mulighetene for å benytte lokale varmebehandlinger (induksjon) for å forbedre de strukturelle egenskapene til sveiste Al-Mg-Si legeringer.
