Faglig innhold
This course will start from spring 2011. The course will be offered in every second year. The main aim of this course is to enhance knowledge in the field of rock stress induced instability problems in tunnels and caverns. The students will gain knowledge both in theory and practical aspects of underground rock excavations through overstressed rock masses.

To achieve international standard advance knowledge in stress induced instability in tunnels and caverns.
Læringsformer og aktiviteter
The course is offered in English language. Teaching will be in a form of guided self study. The attendant shall write a review article in one of the selected topic.
